I have always been inconsistent with my flute practice. Hours a day for a few days, then nothing for a few days after that. I find that I constantly set myself back by taking too much time off.
So this year, I'm doing an experiment. I'm going to try to practice something every day. It might be an entire afternoon, it might be ten minutes . . . but for once I'm going to try to take the advice I always give my students and play, at least a little, every single day.

Almost didn't get it done today, but I ended up doing some very pianissimo practice before bed. After all these years in apartments, no wonder my pianissimos are better than my fortes. ;)
