I almost didn't practice today.
And then I thought about how pathetic I would feel to come here and admit to the world that I only made it 8/365ths of the way!
So I went and spent some time working on the music for our next Greeley Phil concert.
Day 9: check.
Sometimes it just doesn't happen - which stinks. Like today - Jan 9 -no practicing for me. Went to band rehearsal, but no actual personal practice. And struggling with my piccolo parts - there is no sound! Part of it is the pick so I gave it to my repair guy and he quickly assessed some problems and will have it back to me next week. In the meantime - doubling up on Friday - still not where I am aiming to be…..
